# Connect Instagram

Link an Instagram Business account to enable DM and comment auto-replies.

## Overview

Linking Instagram lets Automate AI automatically reply to Instagram DMs and comments. This requires an Instagram Business or Creator account.

## Before you begin

Make sure your Instagram account is set up as a Business or Creator account — a personal account can't be connected.

## Connect Instagram

### Step 1 — Start the connection

From the left sidebar, click Instagram (under Settings), then click Connect Instagram.

> **NOTE: This opens a real sign-in flow**
> Clicking Connect Instagram takes you through Instagram's own sign-in and permission screens to link your account — there's no preview step.

## Expected result

Once connected, the page shows your linked Instagram account instead of the "No Instagram account connected yet" message, and DM/comment auto-replies become available.
