# Track Button Clicks

See every button your customers tapped in a campaign message, and export the data.

## Overview

When a campaign template includes buttons, Button Clicks shows you which ones customers actually tapped.

## View button clicks

### Step 1 — Open Button Clicks

From the left navigation, click Button Clicks. The top cards summarize Total Clicks, Customers Who Clicked, and your Most Clicked Button. Use the Campaign, Button type, and date range filters to narrow the table below, and click Export to download the results as CSV or Excel.

> **NOTE: Not every button type can be tracked**
> Quick Reply and custom reply buttons are tracked automatically. Visit Website buttons are only tracked when they use a Smart Link. Call Now and Copy Code taps happen on the customer's phone, and WhatsApp doesn't report them back — those can't be tracked.

### Field reference

| Field | What it shows |
| --- | --- |
| Total Clicks | Every tracked button tap across your campaigns. |
| Customers Who Clicked | The number of distinct customers who tapped a tracked button. |
| Most Clicked Button | The single button with the most taps, and its click count. |
| Campaign / Button type / From / To filters | Narrow the table below to a specific campaign, button type, or date range. |

### Table columns

| Column | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Customer, Mobile | Who clicked, when known — shown as — for taps that can't be tied to a contact. |
| Campaign, Template | Which campaign and template the button was sent in. |
| Button Clicked | The button's label as it appeared to the customer. |
| Type | The button type — for example Visit Website. |
| Device | The device and browser or app used to tap it, for example Desktop · Edge. |
| Date & Time | When the tap happened. |

## Expected result

Total Clicks and the table below update as customers tap tracked buttons in your sent campaigns.
