## Overview

Security Settings is where you change your account password.

## Open Settings

### Step 1 — Open Settings

From the left navigation, click Settings, then click Security.

## Change your password

### Step 2 — Change your password

Enter your Current Password, then your New Password (minimum 6 characters) and confirm it, and click Change Password.

> **NOTE: Choose a password you haven't used elsewhere**
> Since this password protects access to your contacts and campaign data, avoid reusing a password from another account.

### Field reference

| Field | What to enter |
| --- | --- |
| Current Password | Your existing account password. |
| New Password | Your new password — minimum 6 characters. |
| Confirm New Password | The same new password again, to catch typos. |

> **TIP: Double-check before submitting**
> Make sure New Password and Confirm New Password match exactly — a mismatch is the most common reason this form won't go through.

## Expected result

Use your new password starting with your next sign-in.
